FAQ and Answers to
your questions...
Can I ride two people on one ATV?
Yes, but please remember that your safety is our #1 concern,
so we leave this decision up to you. Utah state law does not
restrict the number of passengers you can put on an ATV. So,
should
you choose to ride double on any of our ATV's, you must do
so at your own risk. Riding double can be dangerous or
deadly.

Do you
rent ATV's for younger children?
The las in Utah State requires that any person operating any
ATV/OHV must be over the age of 8 years.
Kanyon ATV only rents full-size adult ATV's, officially
designed riders over the age of 16, as specified by the
manufacturer. Younger riders may ride ATV if they qualify
under the state minimums as described in our
safety section of our web-site.
Kanyon ATV does not currently rent ATV's specifially designed for riders
under the age of 16.

How far
are the trails from the Kanyon ATV Location?
All of the area trails are accessible directly from our
location. Accessing some trails may require riding on some
in-town streets or on trails leading to standard
trail-heads.

Do you
provide maps of the area for our ride?
Absolutely. We will provide maps of most if not all of the
available trails. We can assist you in finding a trail that
is right for you by describing specific trail
characteristics and traits so you can make an informed
decision on what's best for you and your ride.

Can
you recommend trails or routes?
Unfortunately, due to liability reasons, Kanyon ATV cannot
recommend specific trails or routes for your journey. We can
describe trails characteristics or details about trails that
will help you make an informed decision for your journey,
but we cannot recommend or suggest specific trails for you
to ride.

Can I
ride my ATV in Bryce Canyon?
Riding an ATV within Bryce Canyon is not allowed by Federal
Law, however, hundreds of miles of trails
that border on and surround Bryce Canyon are open for ATV
adventure. Many of these trails look down on Bryce Canyon,
or include routes nearby and around the canyon itself.
Be weary of anyone telling you they can take you to Bryce
Canyon on an ATV. If they do, they are breaking the law.

Am I
required to wear Kanyon ATV safety equipment?
While you are not required to use the equipment we provide,
we do require that any of your own safety equipment that you
use to replace ours meet all of the minimum requirements and
qualifications. For example helmets must be D.O.T. approved,
gloves must be reinforced, and goggles/glasses must meet
minimum impact standards.
--TOP--
Do you offer package deals or
multiple rental discounts?
Yes. On average, we will give you an additional 5% discount
for each additional ATV you rent for more than 1/2 day.
These discounts do not apply to the hourly rates.

How
much is your deposit, and how is it paid?
The standard deposit on an ATV is $300-$600 per unit,
depending on the equipment rented. The deposit is paid in
advance on a credit card, along with your standard rental
fee. Once the ATV is returned, the deposit is refunded, less
any damage to the ATV.

Why
do you require a credit card for rentals?
A credit card helps to protect our liability for the equipment rented. While
most customers are honest, Kanyon ATV must protect itself
from the small number of people who attempt to steal or
those who may cause damage our rental equipment. ATV rental
may be paid for in cash, but all deposits must be placed on
a credit card.
